Overview
An easy whitewater introduction, with rapids and riverside camping on the road between Kathmandu and Pokhara.
The Trishuli River is Nepal's best-known beginner-friendly rafting route, with mostly moderate rapids and calm stretches. It's easy to fit between Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan.
Trips include safety gear and a river guide. Water levels vary, so the route may change with the season, and rafting pauses when the river runs high during the monsoon.
You don't need experience, but you should be comfortable in water.
