  • Pangsang Pass views
  • Ganesh Himal panorama
  • Tamang and Gurung homestays

Overview

A quiet walk through Tamang and Gurung villages beneath Ganesh Himal, crossing Pangsang Pass for a wide Himalayan view.

Ruby Valley, in the Ganesh Himal area, sees few trekkers. The name comes from gemstones once mined in the hills, and today the trail links farming villages with simple lodges and homestays.

The high point is Pangsang Pass at about 3,850 m, which has views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Langtang.

Trail facilities are basic, and your guide can arrange a homestay when lodges are limited.
