Overview
Nepal's favourite lakeside city, with boating on Phewa Lake, sunrise at Sarangkot and views of the Annapurna range.
Pokhara sits beside Phewa Lake beneath Machhapuchhre and the Annapurnas, and it is the usual base for treks in this area. Its easygoing Lakeside district is full of cafes and shops.
This short tour covers sunrise at Sarangkot, boating to Tal Barahi Temple, the World Peace Pagoda, Devi's Fall and Gupteshwor Cave. Time is left free to relax.
Mountains are clearest from October to March, and rain is common in summer.
