Six days by road from Kathmandu to Upper Mustang, Muktinath and Pokhara, with a night in Lete on the way back.
The longer road tour to Upper Mustang adds a night in Lete and a sightseeing stop in Pokhara, so the return is less rushed. Off-road sections cross dramatic desert landscapes to Lo Manthang and the Korala border.
